Day 1: Travel to Lake Mburo National Park
After an early breakfast, you begin your journey to Lake Mburo National Park passing through Mpanga Forest and numerous towns and villages.
Your accommodation for the night is a peaceful place with great views just outside the park. Here you can breathe in the essence of wild Uganda. The comfortable and spacious cottages are dotted around the hill, all very private and offering great sunset views. Animals such as zebra, warthog, impala and bushbuck abound around the lodge and often congregate at the water hole beneath the dining area. At night the sounds of bush come to life and allow your imagination to run wild.

Day 2: Wildlife in Lake Mburo National Park
Lake Mburo National Park is one of Uganda’s smallest parks, but certainly not to be underestimated. It is the only Ugandan national park home to zebra, eland and impala, as well as an abundance of other wildlife.
It is also one of the two parks in Uganda where it is permitted to go for a safari walk with an experienced ranger. Of course you are going to do this!
Footprints and animal droppings tell which animal has been here and how long ago. It is exciting to approach the wildlife at such close range.
In the afternoon, you can plan another activity:
You can choose to go for another game-drive around a different part of the park (inclusive) to look for all the exciting wildlife. Or go you may decide to have a boat safari in search of the hippos and birdlife (not inclusive).
